Past
projects.

Landlords, hosts and property managers bring us their biggest jobs: whole HMO portfolios, student houses, neglected ovens and repair lists. Here is what the client needed, what we did, and how it looked before and after.

HMO deep clean

Three HMOs. One day.

A client with three HMOs needed every one of them deep cleaned ahead of inspection. We priced all three as a single job and cleaned them in one day.

Kitchens took the most work: ovens, hobs, extractor hoods and microwaves degreased, sinks descaled and floors scrubbed. Then windows and sills, bathrooms, and the shared stairs, landings and hallways.

The deep cleans led to regular work: the same client now has us in for weekly and biweekly cleans.

Student accommodation

Two years of student move-outs.

For the past two years the same client has called us in whenever their students move out. Every property gets an end-of-tenancy deep clean, so it is ready for whoever moves in next.

Student kitchens take the hardest wear: burnt-on gas hobs, oven doors glazed with grease and sinks left full. We strip those back first, then work through bathrooms, floors, stairs and hallways.

Cleaning and maintenance

One call. One invoice.

Our HMO and Airbnb clients often hand us the maintenance as well as the cleaning. Our own team and the trades we work with do the jobs, we pay them, and the client deals with one person and gets one invoice.

Two of those jobs are shown here. A gutter packed with moss and standing water was cleared out end to end, and an attic bedroom with scuffed, marked walls was brought back to clean white.

Oven and appliance cleaning

Ovens back to the enamel.

Ovens and appliances get booked on their own, or added to an end-of-tenancy, HMO or Airbnb clean. Landlords often call us just before an inspection or a new tenant moves in.

Racks, trays, the oven floor and the door glass are stripped of baked-on grease. Dishwashers, fridges and freezers get the same treatment.

Airbnb after-party clean

After the party.

Guests held a party in an Airbnb flat and left it behind them: balloons on every floor, petals trodden into the carpet, empties along the counter and a table buried in rubbish.

We bagged and cleared the lot, vacuumed the petals out of the carpets, stripped and remade the bed, emptied the fridge and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, so the flat was back to the way it looks in the listing.

Airbnb changeover

Three bedrooms. One changeover.

A three-bedroom Airbnb in a converted brick building, cleaned between one guest checking out and the next checking in.

Every bed was stripped and made up with fresh linen and rolled towels. In the kitchen we cleaned the hob, oven, fridge and sink and mopped the herringbone floor, then cleaned the shower room and reset the coffee station so the next guests walked into the flat from the listing.

I'm incredibly satisfied with the partnership we've established with Philosglow! Their exceptional service has been invaluable, I can't express enough gratitude for their contributions.

The Philosglow team is comprised of amazing staff members who are consistently kind, respectful, and punctual when cleaning my venue. Despite my venue's large size and the time consuming nature of the tasks required, they consistently deliver outstanding results.

Their service is fast, efficient, and incredibly reliable, even accommodating last minute requests. Furthermore, the management team is excellent, handling everything promptly and maintaining clear communication regarding any important information. Overall, I would rate their service a perfect 10/10.

Good
questions.

What Airbnb hosts and business owners across Birmingham and the West Midlands ask us before booking.

Ask us yours

Which areas do you cover?

We clean across the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley and Walsall, plus the surrounding areas. If you're not sure we reach you, message us and we'll tell you straight away.

Can you do same-day Airbnb changeovers?

Yes, guaranteed, as long as there's a 4–5 hour gap between check-out and check-in. We work to a checklist tailored to your property, can wash and dry linen by arrangement or use yours, check the property and report any damage, send before-and-after photos, restock toiletries and snacks, and handle key handover if you manage remotely.

What kinds of commercial premises do you clean?

Offices, gyms, training centres, venues, restaurants, pubs, salons, retail showrooms and public spaces. We work daily, weekly or on a custom schedule, at hours that suit your business, on short- or long-term contracts.

How much does a clean cost?

Every space is different, so we price each job individually. Tell us about the property, its size and how often you need us, and we'll send a free, no-obligation quote within 24 hours.

Are your cleaners insured and DBS-checked?

Yes. We're fully insured, every team member is DBS-checked and in uniform, and our products are COSHH compliant. Philos Glow Cleaning Service Ltd is registered in England & Wales, company no. 13832061.

Do you do repairs and maintenance as well?

Yes, with or without a clean. Send us your postcode, photos and the list of jobs, and we'll quote. General jobs are done by our team, and specialist work such as plumbing, electrics and fire doors goes to qualified trades we work with. We manage and pay them, so you have one contact and one invoice.

Can I book just an oven clean?

Yes. We clean ovens, hobs, fridges, freezers and dishwashers as a job on their own or alongside any other clean, including last-minute requests when we have availability.

Do you do home, end-of-tenancy or after-builders cleans?

Yes. As well as commercial contracts and turnovers, we do regular home cleans, one-off and deep (sparkle) cleans, end-of-tenancy cleans for landlords and tenants, and after-builders cleans.

What are your opening hours?

We're open Mon–Sat, 9am–5pm. Cleans can be booked outside those hours, including early mornings, evenings and around guest check-ins. Send a message any time and we'll reply within 24 hours.
